Tween Girls Summer Group in Longwood, FL
A supportive in-person group for tween girls navigating anxiety, big emotions, friendship stress, and growing confidence this summer.
A space where tween girls can feel understood, supported, and less alone.

Friendship drama. Big feelings. Anxiety that shows up out of nowhere. Difficulty managing frustration. Constant overthinking. Feeling different from peers. Growing independence while still needing support.
This 8-week in-person summer group is designed to help tween girls build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and connect with peers who get it.

Your questions, answered
-
This is a therapist-led interpersonal process and skill-building group facilitated by Nicole Ivelevitch, LCSW, a licensed therapist specializing in anxiety, emotional regulation, ADHD, perfectionism, and related challenges in children, teens, and young adults.
The group combines therapeutic support, skill-building, discussion, and peer connection in a developmentally appropriate format.

Yes.
To help ensure the best fit and support each participant’s success, a required intake process must be completed prior to the start of group, which includes:
30-minute parent intake session
30-minute tween intake session
This allows me to better understand your child’s needs, answer questions, and determine whether the group feels like the right match. This also allows me to assign a diagnosis code, which is required if you choose to seek insurance reimbursement.
-
The fee for this group is $75 per session.
Temperance Psychotherapy is a private pay, out-of-network practice, meaning payment is collected directly rather than billed to insurance.
If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be able to seek reimbursement depending on your insurance plan.
Some families choose to use Thrizer, a third-party service that may simplify out-of-network reimbursement by allowing eligible claims to be processed upfront rather than waiting for reimbursement.
For more information about fees, out-of-network benefits, and reimbursement options, click here.
A limited number of reduced-fee spots may be available based on need.
-
Depending on your specific plan, you may be eligible for reimbursement for services using your out-of-network mental health benefits.
Upon request, documentation (such as a superbill) can be provided for self-submission to your insurance carrier.
Some families may also choose to use Thrizer, a third-party reimbursement service that can help streamline the out-of-network reimbursement process for eligible plans.
For additional details about insurance, reimbursement, and payment policies, visit the Fees & Insurance page here.
If you’re unsure what your plan covers, I recommend checking directly with your insurance provider regarding out-of-network mental health benefits.

I understand that summer schedules can be busy and that vacations, camps, and unexpected events sometimes come up.
Because this is a small therapeutic group experience with limited enrollment, each participant’s spot is reserved for the full 8-week group.
If your child will be absent, at least 48 hours’ notice is required.
Missed sessions with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged at the full session rate.
While make-up sessions are not available for missed group sessions, I’ll do my best to help participants stay connected to the overall group experience.
-
This is intentionally a small group experience, with approximately 5–6 participants, to allow for meaningful connection, participation, and individualized support.
-
Finding the right group fit matters, both for your child’s experience and for the group as a whole.
Before enrollment, I offer:
a free 15-minute parent consultation to learn more about your concerns, answer questions, and discuss whether the group may be a good fit
a free 15-minute virtual screening with your daughter via Zoom to help ensure she feels comfortable and that the group environment is an appropriate match
The goal is to make sure each participant feels supported, comfortable, and set up for success before the group begins.
If it doesn’t seem like the right fit, I’m always happy to discuss other options.
