THE POWER OF GROUPS
Why group therapy?
Anxiety & overthinking — practice coping skills, reduce avoidance, and build confidence in a supportive space
Social anxiety & friendship challenges — strengthen communication, social skills, and connection through real-life interaction
Depression & isolation — feel less alone and more supported by people who genuinely understand
Emotion regulation & stress management — learn practical tools for navigating overwhelming emotions, stress, and conflict
Group therapy offers a unique opportunity to build skills, gain perspective, practice new ways of relating, and connect with others who understand what you’re going through.
Groups can be especially helpful for:
Perfectionism & self-esteem — challenge unhelpful patterns while building self-compassion and resilience
OCD & intrusive thoughts — reduce shame, normalize experiences, and build tolerance for uncertainty
ADHD & executive functioning struggles — gain structure, accountability, and strategies that actually work in daily life
Building confidence & connection — receive encouragement, honest feedback, and perspective from others facing similar challenges

Frequently Asked Questions
-
I offer a free 15-minute group screening via Zoom to help determine whether a specific group feels like the right fit based on age, goals, personality, and current needs. This is also a chance to ask questions and make sure the group feels like a good match before moving forward.
-
Not at all. You are always in control of what you choose to share. Some people participate more actively right away, while others take time to get comfortable. Both are okay.
-
Yes—privacy is taken seriously, and all members agree to keep what is shared in group confidential. Because other participants are involved, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in the same way it can in individual therapy, but creating a respectful, private space is a core expectation.
-
Not necessarily. Some groups are open to individuals who are not currently in individual therapy, while others may recommend additional support depending on your needs and the group’s focus.
-
Fees vary depending on the group. Pricing and payment details will be reviewed during the screening process before enrollment.
-
Group therapy works best with consistent attendance, since each member contributes to the overall experience. Specific attendance expectations and cancellation policies will be reviewed before the group begins.
