Therapy in
Longwood, FL

In-person support for children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, OCD, ADHD, eating disorders, and body image concerns.

I'm Nicole Ivelevitch, LCSW. Together, we can understand what's keeping you stuck and find a way forward that feels manageable.

A cozy living room with a small, light gray sofa adorned with two brown pillows. A round, blue patterned rug lies beneath the sofa. To the side, there is a floor lamp with a white shade next to a small table holding tissue and other items. The wall behind the sofa is painted a warm yellow and features a framed painting of a harbor scene with boats and trees. To the right, a window with sheer white curtains is letting in natural light, revealing trees outside. A wood floor completes the room.

Meet Your Longwood Therapist

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with children, teens, and adults. My clinical experience includes outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential treatment settings.

My style is warm, honest, and active. I want therapy to be a place where you feel comfortable being yourself, including the parts you usually hide, minimize, or worry someone won’t understand.

Together, we’ll explore what keeps you stuck and practice ways to respond differently. Your goals, feedback, and everyday experiences help shape our work.

What I Help With

  • Anxiety, Perfectionism, and People-Pleasing

Constant worry, second-guessing, difficulty setting boundaries, and pressure to avoid mistakes can leave you exhausted. We can explore these patterns and work toward more flexibility in how you respond to yourself and others.

  • OCD and Intrusive Thoughts

If you feel caught in unwanted thoughts, checking, mental rituals, or repeated reassurance seeking, I offer OCD-focused therapy that may incorporate Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). We’ll develop a collaborative plan that considers your symptoms, goals, and readiness.

  • ADHD and Everyday Overwhelm

ADHD can affect how you manage time, start tasks, organize responsibilities, and navigate emotions. Our work can include practical strategies alongside space to process the frustration and self-criticism that may come with these challenges.

  • Eating Disorders and Body Image

I work with people experiencing eating disorders, disordered eating, rigid food rules, and distress about their bodies. We’ll discuss your needs and the support that is appropriate for you, including coordination with other providers when needed.

  • Hair Pulling, Skin Picking, and BFRBs

I offer support for body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), including hair pulling and skin picking. We’ll explore your individual patterns and develop practical strategies using approaches such as Habit Reversal Training (HRT) and the Comprehensive Behavioral (ComB) model.

  • Depression, Burnout, and Life Transitions

You may feel disconnected, emotionally drained, or unsure how to move forward. Therapy offers space to talk honestly about what you’re experiencing and identify manageable steps toward a life that feels more connected to what matters to you.

Teens: Space to navigate anxiety, school pressure, friendships, identity, body image, and growing independence.

What Working Together Looks Like

We’ll begin by talking about what brought you to therapy, your history, and what you hope to get out of our work. We’ll also discuss the approaches that fit your needs and establish goals together.

Depending on your concerns, treatment may draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), or approaches specifically focused on BFRBs.

There’s room for both understanding your experience and practicing new skills. We’ll regularly check in about what feels helpful and what needs to change.
